So many people think that the only way to “Go Natural” is to do the BIG CHOP. I can speak from personal experience; this is not the only way to go natural. Sisterlocks are great for transitioning from relaxed hair to locks without the BIG CHOP. This is why so many fall in love with them!All you need is 1 ½ - 2 inches of new growth to start your Sisterlocks.
A client wore her relaxer until her new growth was long enough to transition into Sisterlocks. The relaxed hair can still be styled, and eventually will be cut off leaving her with a beautiful head of Sisterlocks.
Please be sure to research all avenues before you chop it all off.
