I was so excited to read about this young lady, Giovonnie Samuels, she is Sisterlocked and loving it!! She was actually a client of Dr. Cornwell from around age 8 into her teen years when her family moved to Los Angeles . . . I will let you read what wikipedia has to say about her:

Sisterlocks are steadily growing . . . and I am so glad I am part of the Sisterlock Revolution!
I was so excited that my hair could finally wrap all the way around these rollers that I couldn’t wait to try them.I sprayed my hair with water mixed with lavender, and rolled.
I waited for my hair to dry, then took out the rollers . . . .
My hair was sort of bumped slightly on the ends, but it wasn’t the look I was expecting, or hoping for.I believe I need to change the direction of my rollers next time, maybe going down on the sides instead of back . . . so here is my final outcome.
I am proud to announce the re-modeling of Loving My Locks . . . after painting, and re-arranging, I finally have a space that I am in love with . . . check out the pictures, and leave a comment, let me know what you think.
I fell in love with this mirror when I first seen it, I knew I had to have it
Why am I just finding out that Loretta Divine has Sisterlocks!! WOW, I can't believe this one slipped past me . . . here are some of her beautiful pictures . . .
My little experiment went well, hopefully next time it will not rain the first day. Here is an overview of all of the styles I wore with setting my hair on lock loops. Every evening I went to bed with a satin bonnet on my head, and that is all . . .
It seems to me that some of my curls have fallen, but I believe that is more because of the rain than the setting aide.My locks feel a little stiffer than they felt when I used only water to set my locks.I still feel as though I have curls to wear out . . .
Recently I noticed that my curls were not lasting as long as once before.I was on the internet doing some research, and ran across the following post from Sisterlocks Event Calendar . . .
The best setting aide: Sisterlocks Moisture Treatment! Mix 8 ounces of water in a spray bottle and add 2 teaspoons of Moisture Treatment and shake well. The consistency will be that of non-fat milk. This mixture will give you the perfect mix to create everlasting curl - or just use as an occasional mist if you feel your hair is a bit dry
So, I decided to try it . . . here are my pictures.I mixed the solution, misted my hair, and rolled, Shirley Temple style, on Lock Loops, probably about 10 – 15 locks (front section) 5-10 locks (back section) per loop and let it dry overnight . . . .
